Karen M. Peterson, CLU, ChFC
Senior Analyst
Karen graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
She began her professional career working for Security Life of Denver as a Life Proposal Assistant in the support center.
Karen then moved into a consultant role and began using the broad knowledge she gained from her experience at the support desk to help the sales efforts of agencies from across the nation.
In her role as Marketing Consultant, she helped agents understand complex Life products and advanced marketing concepts.
Karen also conducted product, marketing and software training sessions for agents and their staff. She eventually moved into the Marketing Systems department as a Business Analyst.

Here she learned script based programming languages that allowed her to develop specialized illustrations for the field force.
In addition, she acquired much experience with software testing methodologies. After being promoted to Lead Business Analyst, Karen was given the responsibility of managing project schedules and maintaining communication between various departments.
She also developed requirements for user interface, calculation and output modules for illustration systems as well as broader business based tools used by agencies to support their life insurance sales.
In addition to individual life sales and support, Karen has a long history of support and knowledge in multi-life sales. Karen is an excellent team player with vast experience in all aspects of the software development life cycle.
